5 Hooman habits that annoy our dogs the most

Dogs have been living by our side for thousands of years. They are our best friends. However, we sometimes forget that it is still a different species with different habits and that they often have holy patience with us. Each furry girl or boy is original with their unique personality, but despite of that, we can find a few things, which people do and dogs are bothered by.

1. HUGGING AND INTERFERING A PERSONAL SPACE
Dogs are contact animals, but they imagine expressing affection a little bit differently than we do. While we would like to cuddle and kiss them to death, such an activity often ends by dragging and dog escape. Most dogs just tolerate it and often allow it only to people they know well. From others they usually perceive it as a threat. Dogs also react similarly when we get too close to their face or petting them furiously. Imagine for yourself that you are walking down the street and a complete stranger jumps on you, leans super close to you and starts scratching your head...not nice, right?

2. OUR PASSION FOR PERFUMES AND AROMATHERAPY
The collection of perfumes on the shelf in your bathroom makes YOU happy. But it is definitely a big NO to your dog friend. It is a well-known fact that dogs have a very delicate sense of smell. The mix of strong odors of various sources is a very intense stimulus for dogs, whether it comes from the well-known perfumery or natural apathy. We know you probably like to use it, but at least try to apply scents in a different room or space that your dog is at.

3. WALKS IN A HURRY
Walking your dog is not a race. It's not the point to walk as many kilometers as possible and just get your dog's paws tired. Dog senses and instincts should also be exaggerated. However, many dog owners have no idea about this, so they run through the streets or in nature and don't care their dog wants to stop and sniff around a bit. Try to walk your dog as if you were at unknown place. Explore it, slow down for a sec here and there and let the dog bury his snout into a grass and breathe in the wonderful fresh air yourself. You both will enjoy the walk better for sure.

4. NO CONSISTENCY
What do dogs and children have in common? They don't usually look like that, but the lack of rules doesn't suit them. A safe living environment is based on predictability and clearly defined foundations. Routines and well-explained principles of coexistence suit dogs. Of course, this has nothing to do with shouting and forcibly enforcing the rules. Instead of strict authority, bet on consistency and strengthening of the mutual relationship.

5. LACK OF ATTENTION
Dogs are social animals and the time when they had a defined place alone in the backyard by the hut is fortunately over. In addition, they are also social sleepers and simply do not like to be alone for a long time. That's why we have to think about our dog friends, even if we don't want to, it's raining outside or we'd rather watch a movie instead of playing together, walking or training. For our dogs, we are the center of the universe.
